Recent Settlement
In October, Slack & Davis successfully negotiated a settlement on behalf of the family of a U.S. Forest Service employee who died in the crash of a Bell 407 helicopter during recovery efforts related to the Columbia Space Shuttle disaster in 2003.

“This crash was caused by the failure of an electrical system that is designed to exercise control over the helicopter’s engine,” said Michael L. Slack. John C. “Rusty” Allman and Slack negotiated the confidential settlement agreement.
