New Air Crash Cases
In eight new aviation cases, Slack & Davis represents the following clients:

One of two passengers to survive the crash of a commuter jet, AmericanConnection Flight 5966, Oct. 19, 2004. The British Aerospace Jetstream 32 crashed into woods just south of the runway at Kirksville Regional Airport in Missouri. Eleven passengers and two crewmembers died.

Wife of a pilot whose Mitsubishi MU-2 cargo plane crashed into a suburban neighborhood, May 14, 2004, near Baltimore-Washington International Airport. Attorney Ladd Sanger received national press coverage about his criticisms concerning the MU-2’s stability in non-optimal flying conditions.

Family of the pilot who died when another MU-2 cargo plane crashed in Englewood, Colo., Dec. 10, 2004. The pilot attempted to return to the airport after having to shut down one engine.

Family of a student pilot who died when the wing tore off a Beech A-45 (T-34A), Dec. 7, 2004, near Montgomery, Texas, killing the instructor, as well. The wing was found one-fourth mile away from the crash site. This was the third similar crash in five years. As a result, the FAA issued an emergency airworthiness directive in December 2004, grounding all T-34s until their wings can be inspected for fatigue or modified.

Wife and children of a prominent Texas neuroradiologist who died while undertaking instrument flight instruction at Beaumont Municipal Airport in January 2004.

Children of a man who was killed by carbon monoxide poisoning while flying from Waxahachie to Fredericksburg, Texas. Because the pilot was incapacitated, the Piper PA-32 kept flying until it ran out of fuel and crashed in Guerrero, Mexico, near Eagle Pass on the Texas/Mexico border.

Family of a passenger who died in the crash of an Aero Commander AC-685 near Apodaca, Nuevo Leon, Mexico. A total of five died as the plane attempted to return to the airport.

Family of a 76-year-old private pilot who died in the crash of a Mooney M20-D on Sept. 6, 2004, in Pagosa Springs, Colo. Repairs on the aircraft are at issue.
