FDA Recalls

In 2012, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) recalled 56 drugs and 22 medical devices. So far this year, the FDA has already recalled one medical device and four drugs, including the drug Mitosol.

Mitosol opted for a voluntary recall when it was determined that parts of the kit might not be sterile.

The FDA updates its database as soon as a recall has been issued.

For your safety and peace of mind, look at the FDA database to keep up-to-date about products deemed unsafe for you and your family. The FDA also provides an index of specific drugs for your additional research and information.
