Slack & Davis attorney Paula Knippa has again been recognized as a Rising Star by Thomson Reuters Super Lawyers.
Paula is joined on the Rising Stars list by fellow attorneys who are 40 or under, or who have been practicing for 10 years or less. Paula was nominated by attorneys and chosen by an attorney-led research team, based on her performance within a defined set of criteria, including personal achievement. This recognition is bestowed on no more than 2.5 percent of the lawyers in the state of Texas.
Paula is an integral part of Slack & Davis’ dynamic aviation litigation team and is especially well-versed in analyzing, briefing and resolving issues related to the Montreal Convention. She approaches each case with a unique attention to detail and keen analytical skills.
Paula currently serves as the first-ever newsletter editor for the Aviation Law Section of the State Bar of Texas. A noted writer and speaker, Paula will present “Getting Started” at the Volunteer Legal Services of Central Texas Basic Litigation Training on March 30, 2015. In July, Paula will present, “Preclusion, Exclusion and Confusion: Trends and Traps in Montreal Convention Cases” at the American Association for Justice 2015 Annual Convention in Montreal, Canada.
We are proud of Paula for achieving Rising Star selection for the third year in a row.
