Moore v. Wilkes, et al
In December 2020, Mrs. Moore was traveling down the highway on her way home from a shopping trip. Suddenly, an oncoming vehicle was thrown into her lane of traffic by a commercial vehicle that failed to pay attention to the traffic ahead. As a result, Mrs. Moore’s vehicle was hit head on at highway speed. Unfortunately, Mrs. Moore was killed, leaving a husband of many years and three sons behind. During investigation, it was determined that the driver of the commercial vehicle did not have a valid driver’s license, and he was pulling a trailer that was overloaded for its weight capacity. Shortly after suit was filed in Dallas, Texas, a mediation was convened which resulted in the case settling for the policy limits of all interested parties. Mike Guajardo represented Mrs. Moore’s surviving family.
