Mike Slack Discusses Fatal Butler, Missouri Skydiving Plane Crash with KCTV5

Aviation attorney Mike Slack was interviewed by KCTV5, the CBS affiliate for Kansas City, following the June 14, 2026 crash of a Pacific Aerospace P-750XL near Butler Memorial Airport in Butler, Missouri, which killed all twelve people on board, including eleven skydivers and the pilot.

Slack provided technical context on the circumstances surrounding the crash, including the aircraft’s reported return to the airport shortly after takeoff and the focus areas investigators will examine in the early stages of the NTSB inquiry.
