Texas Lawyer and Texas Lawbook Feature Slack Davis Sanger Merger with Guajardo & Marks
As featured in Texas Lawyer and Texas Lawbook, Slack Davis Sanger is set to combine with Guajardo & Marks, effective January 1, 2020. The firm will remain named Slack Davis Sanger and Mike Slack will maintain his role as Managing Partner.
This merger marks a strategic move that combines Slack Davis Sangers’ aviation expertise with the Guajardo & Marks catastrophic injury and products liability practice. “We see this as a really good opportunity to expand our client base. Slack Davis Sanger has a very strong national reputation in the field of aviation litigation, and we hope to tap into that through non-aviation cases,” Partner Mike Guajardo told Texas Lawyer.
The merger will expand the size of both the Dallas and Austin offices. Mike Guajardo will be shifting his practice to the Austin area while Greg Marks continues practicing in Dallas.
“Mike and Greg [Marks] are excellent lawyers and there’s a lot of compatibility between our law firms,” Slack told The Texas Lawbook. “By combining resources, we can more effectively and efficiently assist clients in catastrophic personal injury cases and achieve the best possible outcomes with the same integrity and compassion that we’ve stressed since our founding.”
