Water Tank Truck Catastrophic Personal Injury Lawsuit

Case Title: Lane v. Ledwell Sou, et al.

On August 20, 2012, a water tank truck traveling south on FM 1191 became uncontrollable and rolled over, crushing the cab. The truck was equipped with a 4,000-gallon water tank, and the truck driver suffered head, spine, and other injuries. The client alleged that the tank truck lacked sufficient baffling in the tank to reduce liquid movement. The insufficient baffling allowed the water to “slosh” excessively and affect the balance of the vehicle, resulting in the loss of control. John Jose represented the client and secured a confidential settlement prior to trial.
