Ladd Sanger Interviewed by KUAR (NPR), KATV (ABC) and Stuttgart Daily Leader on Medical Helicopter Crash in Arkansas
In November, a Bell 407 GXP medical helicopter crashed in Arkansas, killing all three of the crew members on board. According to a local sheriff’s report, the cause was likely due to a large flock of geese striking the aircraft, causing it to spiral downward and crash.
Local press, including KUAR (the National Public Radio affiliate in Little Rock), KATV (an ABC affiliate) and Stuttgart Daily Leader, interviewed Ladd Sanger to obtain insight on the likelihood of geese as the cause of the crash, as well as to explain how the FAA will determine if a bird strike to the tail rotor occurred.
