Ladd Sanger Featured on WHAS11 (ABC) to Discuss UPS Plane Crash Investigation
Ladd Sanger, board-certified aviation attorney, pilot, and Managing Partner of Slack Davis Sanger’s Dallas office, was featured on WHAS11 — Louisville’s ABC affiliate — to discuss new findings in the ongoing investigation of the UPS cargo plane crash at Muhammad Ali International Airport.
In the segment, Sanger explained how early evidence points to a catastrophic engine separation and subsequent fire, rendering the aircraft uncontrollable within seconds of takeoff. He also addressed new information from flight tracking data indicating the plane had been grounded in San Antonio for six weeks prior to returning to service.
Sanger emphasized the importance of reviewing the aircraft’s recent maintenance history, noting that there is no current indication of pilot error.
