Mike Slack Named to The Best Lawyers in America for a 29th Consecutive Year

Michael L. Slack, managing partner at Slack Davis PLLC, has been named to the 2027 edition of The Best Lawyers in America® in Aviation Law, Personal Injury Litigation – Plaintiffs, and Product Liability Litigation – Plaintiffs. He has been named to the list every year since 1999.

The 2027 edition, now in its 33rd year, recognizes 81,620 lawyers across 151 practice areas and 203 metropolitan and geographic areas, which Best Lawyers describes as the top 5% of practicing attorneys in the market. The awards were informed by 3.8 million evaluations from more than 32,000 voting lawyers. Recognition is determined entirely by peer review, and attorneys are evaluated confidentially by others practicing in the same region and the same practice area.

Mike founded Slack Davis in 1993 and has spent most of his career on aviation accident litigation, handling cases across the industry from major airline disasters to general aviation and helicopter crashes. He is a licensed pilot and a former NASA aerospace engineer, board certified in Aviation Law and in Personal Injury Trial Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization, and board certified as a Civil Trial Advocate by the National Board of Trial Advocacy. He has tried and litigated cases in 36 states.
