Mike Slack Discusses Fatal Laredo Citation Latitude Crash on KXAN

Aviation attorney Mike Slack was interviewed by KXAN News in Austin following the June 16, 2026 crash of a NetJets Cessna Citation Latitude near Laredo International Airport, which killed one of the six people on board and sent the other occupants to area hospitals.

Slack provided technical context on the circumstances surrounding the crash, including the aircraft’s reported mechanical issue, the diversion from its Austin destination, and the descending maneuvers in the final minutes before impact.
