Slack Davis Sanger Supports Volunteer Legal Services Basic Litigation Seminar

Slack Davis Sanger attorneys Mike Davis, Justin Townsend and Suzanne Kaplan spoke to newly licensed attorneys at the Volunteer Legal Services of Central Texas Basic Litigation Seminar, held in Austin on October 5, 2012.

“VLS’s commitment to serving Texas is inspiring. I appreciate the privilege to speak to any Austin attorneys willing to give their time to support the VLS pledge of service,” said Mr. Townsend, who outlined VLS’ diverse range of cases in his presentation, “Getting Started with Volunteer Legal Services.”

Suzanne Kaplan’s pretrial game plan drew a road map for the life span of a VLS case. “It is inspiring to see so many people who are eager to give back to their communities by volunteering their time to help people in need,” she said.

“A great CLE program for a great organization. It was inspiring to see the number of young lawyers willing to volunteer their time,” said Mike Davis, who spoke about trial preparation techniques. Click photo below to see a video clip of Mike’s presentation.
