Ten Fatalities in Alaska Airplane Crash

On Sunday, July 7, 2013, a de Havilland DHC3 Otter air taxi operated by Rediske Air, crashed and fully engulfed in flames at a small Alaska airport, near Soldotna, Alaska, killing all 10 people on board – nine passengers and a pilot.

“In the circumstances known to exist – crash near the airport, lots of fuel and passengers – the weight and balance of the plane are primary suspects,” said Slack Davis Sanger, a national aviation law firm.
