Case Details:

The pilot was the only occupant of the helicopter and suffered fatal injuries. The helicopter was destroyed by the crash and the fire that ensued. It had been spraying pesticides nearby and was operating without a flight plan. Visual meteorological conditions were prevalent at the time.
The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) examined the wreckage of the helicopter, but could not find any malfunctions or system failures that might have caused the accident.
